COMPLETED: BECAUSE THIS IS MY FIRST LIFE

This is a cute romantic and funny drama that shows 3 different couples and the issues that they have. It also focuses on friendships and careers and the issues that arise from that. Honest opinion, I would say when I watched this show, it was a breathe of fresh air because this year in kdramaland there have been more drama's based on crime, mystery, time travel than just a regular rom com that we all love. I would say that I really enjoyed the first 14 episodes however, the last two episodes were abit disappointing for me but if you haven't seen it, I would still recommend it was a good drama.

Spoilers Below:

Main Couple  - Ji Ho and Se Hee

For me this couple was refreshing, I liked both leads, even though I hadn't seen them before. They matched really well together in their own awkward kind of way. I remember the beginning episodes where they became roommates and they didn't know it, and then he asked her to get married and then they did get get married. Which was all moving so fast but it worked for them. I think one of the things about this couple was that they communicated, there wasn't those usual misunderstandings. If someone didn't like something they would say it.

Also, I would like to point out that they mention the movie the graduate a lot in this drama. It is a hollywood film that came out in the 60s. The wedding bus seen (as seen on the picture above) is actually taken from the movie. A basic summery of the parts of the movie that they used is that the main guy in the movie just graduated from University but he doesn't really know what he wants to do so he somehow ends up sleeping with his fathers work partners wife. But then he falls in love with her daughter, they grew up together but they only go out on one date and his already in love. A lot of drama happens and she ends up accepting the proposal of another guy. So on their wedding day, the main guy goes to the church and they run away together but the ending scene when their on the bus their faces turn from happy to sad because after the adrenaline is gone you find out that you’re just a couple of people sitting on a bus, wondering who the hell you and the person beside you are?

Gosh, i didn't mean to write so much about that movie but I do feel the writer had a lot of inspiration from this movie. The two main points being they are two people who don't really know each other sitting on a bus, the woman in a wedding dress, Ji ho and Se Hee going to get married and I feel as though this drama wanted to show what happens after this movie ends.  Another point is the unemployment aspect of it. Ji ho, started out as a writing assistant and she was following her dream, she ran away from home to go to a University in Seoul and was very smart. So basically, she could have been anything she wanted but she decided was she wanted to write.

Then a lot of drama happens, the sexual assault, them taking her writing and I remember watching this scene when she was walking at night and almost crying because it touched my heart. I got all emotional. It was kind of like, sometimes your dreams just don't come true and that's reality. Not everyone is going to be a singer, actress, lawyer, doctor or whatever. And sometimes it's good to see that side because there are people in the world who didn't achieve their dream for different reasons.

Lead Chemistry Levels

They were an awkward cute fluffy couple. They matched so well, the casting department did well here. I loved them watching football together, the way that even though they were fake married, living together. Little things like holding hands, hugging were such a big deal. It made my heart flutter. Beautiful.

I will just leave this here because this kiss was everything, it was a real kiss and I loved how she actually asked for more, lol. And then the aftermath of it when she was all horny was hilarious.

Fave Couple - Su Ji and Sang Goo

My favourite couple of the show, I loved them from the beginning until the end. I liked that she was a strong indepedent career woman. We got to see the unfair treatment that some women experience at work and for her she sat there and she took it for years because she had to support herself and her mother. So, it was a complete change from the main female lead. I liked the guy as well because he cared for her and wanted to protect her. Loved her unconditionally and it was nice to see him slowly break down the walls she had built up to protect herself.

With this couple, I understood their struggles and issues from each point of view. It made sense and they were also quite funny together.

This was my fave moment.
I swear I had a female crush at this moment.
The couple that should have stayed broken up - Ho Rang and Won Seok
This couple touched on an issue that I think a lot of women need to be wise about. But I don't really like how they ended it because it's not really realistic. Let me just start by saying the couple is cute, even in this picture. But their main issue was that they have been together for 7 years and she is in her 30s now and she wants to get married, whilst he has got this app, following his dream, looking for investors. So right now, marriage, children is not his most important priority.

To set the scene, the house they live in, she paid for the deposit, probably pays for most of the rent, cooks for him, they made it clear that they sleep together as well. So basically she was playing the role of the wife even though she wasn't the wife.

There was a quote in this drama actually and it went something like People want to only get married if there is something to gain, some benefit or it makes their life better. Something along those lines.

So, from the guy's mind getting married won't really make him gain anything because she is already doing things a wife would do. The only thing getting married will do is give him issues, now he will have to deal with inlaws more often, they have to get a new apartment, she will want children that he right now cannot even afford to provide for.

My issue is if you are in a relationship with someone you should communicate, as women if marriage is the end goal for you, then you need to have a conversation, not ask him to marry you but after a 1 or 2. You will know if this person is someone you see yourself getting married to or not. Have a conversation, ask if they see marriage as the end goal. If it's a no then you know where that person stands and you won't end up wasting 7 years of your time because trust me, men can string a woman along for years if you let them and then when they find the right one they will propose within a year.

Also, other things about this couple was that, there was a lot of mis communication, they didn't listen or speak to each other and it was a really toxic relationship and for myself when they broke up I was happy. Of course, after being together with someone for 7 years, they will probably know you like the back of their hand but the fact that they brought in this guy who was basically her but worse in terms of the whole marriage thing was a lame move. She should have taken some time to find herself, then to date properly. Have fun before she found the right one.

But of course, it's a kdrama so they ended up back together, they didn't really resolve any of their issues, she asked him to marry her, he agreed and we are meant to believe its happily ever after but to me I see incoming divorce in 5 years.

The ending

How did something that started out so great end up so poor. For me the down hill of this couple was at the point when she said that she wanted to end the fake marriage contract. At this point he wanted to confess his feelings to her. They had both said they wanted to say something, he had let her speak first of course, this is a kdrama after all and then the down hill of it all started. She wanted to leave him.

The thing that made me disappointed was the fact that she really didn't have a reason for leaving, with each person that she spoke to about it, she gave a different reason. Which in turn made the other reasons not valid. In the end it felt like she was just talking for sake of talking. Her mother said it best "stop talking crap."

I feel as though some people think it was necessary for her to leave him because he wasn't showing his feelings as much as she would have liked, she wanted him to cry for her, to be angry, to say I love you.

But if you are together with someone or you like someone and they leave you without an explanation, (that letter she wrote said nothing, it was just more crap) and then they expect to just come back into your life as if nothing had happened. Again without a real explanation to me is horrible.

He was the one most of the times, that showed affection towards her, that pushed this relationship along the way. The dates, the sleeping in the same room, holding hands, the kisses at the sea and more. To me it looked like manipulation, in the end she got what she wanted, they showed him basically at her back and call. I really didn't like the last episode. It didn't feel natural or romantic, the writers took away what made this couple great for me in the last episodes. Which I never expected. He sold his house, which had the perfect location to everything, because of love. Which I think is quite stupid.

Also, the fact that she gave up a really good writing job, quit her cafe job, left him and moved out was probably the most frustrating thing she ever did. I get that she would have had to work with the ex girlfriend but a smart person would have stayed for at least a year or 2, built a reputation for herself before moving on.

The fact that she was being offered these amazing jobs without even applying was very unrealistic and sloppy writing, in my opinion. This went from being something that was relatable to being a fairytale ending where the fairy godmother grants your wishes without you doing anything for it.

The end message they tried to sell us was that love is more important than the institution of marriage but they fell in love whilst pretending to be married. So that fell flat. I think I was really invested in this drama, that is probably why the last two episodes disappointed me so much. But I know some people loved it and I respect their opinions, I just hope people respect mine.

Skips
I don't think I skipped any parts of the drama but watching the last two episodes was very hard and I kept on pausing and coming back just to finish the drama.

Rating

6.5 is my overall rating for this drama. I do have to say that around episode 14 I would have rated this drama a 9.5. So, it dropped that much. But regardless of the last two episodes, I do have to say that I enjoyed this show a lot and I would still recommend it.

BL DRAMA'S - ADDICTED, LOVE SICK, MAKE IT RIGHT, OBSESSED, SOTUS, COUNTERATTACK

So I don't know how but I tried my first BL Drama. If you don't know BL stands for Boy Love drama. I don't know why but I was just curious and thought let's try this out and see what happens. And my goodness I have no words to describe how addicted I was with this drama. I have been on a massive binge watching of BL drama's.

I need someone to scientifically explain why a girl like me is so entertained, fascinated in watching two guys fall in love...I will wait for your answer.

Right now I will go through the BL drama's I have watched and my thoughts on them.

Addicted

Watch on Viki, shows the uncut version.

This was my gateway bl drama and my goodness did I pick a good one. I would have to say this is probably the most popular bl drama to date and it is justified.

Things I liked about the drama is it had two very handsome guys, tall, fit, beautiful and I think that's half of the appeal if I'm honest. The storyline was interesting, it was from a novel. (One thing I have noticed is that most Chinese drama's are from novels)

One thing I liked was the dialogue, it was very naughty and I was honestly hiding in my blankets at some of their scenes but then I would repeat it a few times as if I hadn't heard anything, lol.

I also think the reason why it become very popular is the fact that they both fit so perfectly, they complimented each other in every way and their both very talented actors.

Another thing is their kissing scenes, im gasping for air, it was so hot and I was so shocked at their kissing scenes. It was riveting and so real.

Cons- Sadly the drama became so popular that it got banned in China. And the crazy thing is they left it at a cliffhanger so I'm just like really....

But this is a music video they did and I will just say this is my ending.

Love Sick

I watched this second and it is a Taiwanese drama (look at me jumping from language to language). They are both school based but their quite different. What I loved about love sick was the storyline, it was cute and different. Also, love sick isn't just about the main couple but it also focuses on other BL couples which is cute.

I loved season 1 and I thought it was a nice spin on how a relationship blossomed. I also liked the main couple I thought they were cute in their own way. They both had a different charm which made them perfect for the roles.

Cons - I do have to say season 1 was amazing and I loved it a lot but season 2 I felt like they went backwards. Okay, let me start by saying the first thing that really annoyed me about this as someone who went from watching Addicted which had realistic kissing. Season 1 there is 1 real kiss that they showed but then theres another kiss but it's cut and theres only a poor quality version of it.

Season 2 there was no kisses shown, I only found a cut kiss after watching the show. But that's not the worst part the thing is they will build it up and then cut the kiss out or move the camera so you can't see sh*t. After a while I just stopped getting my hopes up because I knew nothing was going to happen.

Another thing I would like to say is in season 2 with the main couple you could see that they didn't want to do what they were doing, like they would be hugging and have their necks craned back. Like really, it's a hug. It ruined the illusion of it all and it didn't seem as realistic as in season 1.

Also, there's a lot of unnecessary girl drama which adds nothing to the story, luckily someone edited those out on youtube.

Make it right
Oh, my days, just watch this....

The thing is this is produced by the same people who did love sick so the school is the same and their uniforms are the same. But it's a better version. I.E hotter guys.

Make it right is more explicit, they talk about sex a lot more and the first episode alone will leave you with your mouth on the floor, I honestly couldn't believe what I had just seen. It was beautiful.
Fuse
The guys are beautiful, at first I loved Tee because he looks a bit like BTS Jimin. He is beautiful. But Fuse the other guy (oh, these names, lol) He is perfection, I could just stare at him all day. He is like the cutest thing ever. And their acting is a lot better than in love sick. It's realistic and you feel the love. That's all we want really.

And also we do have a kiss quite early on in the episodes which I thought was sooo cute. But I loved one episode when they were in bed and they were confessing their feelings and it just felt so emotional. I was choking up. I swear. It was beautiful.
OHM is Frame
Also, the side couple, Frame and Book. They are hot especially in season 2 when Frame came back looking all types of extra goodness. I am just mouth dropping like wow. Season 2 Episode 1 came back with fire. It just went to places I didn't expect it to go.

Cons- Can't think of any.

Obsessed

This is only four episodes which are about an average of 20 minutes so you will finish this pretty quickly. It is very much a lot of kissing, very intimate. I actually quite liked the story. Basically, it's of two guys who are together for 9 years or something then one guy decides to marry a girl and leave him, the other guy runs away, gets hit by a car and is given a second chance, wakes up in his body 9 years ago on the day they meet, he avoids him because he doesn't want to get his heart broken and things happen....Kind of like the butterfly effect.

It's a Chinese drama and the guys are handsome and I really loved the one that time traveled.

Cons - It's just short really, wanted more but I can see myself watching it again.

Sotus

The way people recommended this show, I was so excited and ready to watch it. I watched this after Make it right and the difference was crazy. It's based in a university and there is ALOOOT about Sotus which like a sorority or something and I was bored. It's kind of like they hate each other at the beginning and then they fall in love but the thing is unlike ADDICTED where they hated each other at the beginning and they would do pranks, it was funny, hot and cute this was a lot of speeches and I was just bored.

Another thing was the guys were not as good looking. (I did say that point counts for like 50% of the enjoyment) You need at least one eye candy. I kind of skipped a lot and the romance starts at around episode 9 and then the kisses were on episode 13/14...the kisses were meh.

Cons - I have said a lot of cons already. Let me do Pros - I can see why people like it, I think it's good to try it maybe you will like it.

Update 13/12/2017
So I have watched Sotus again when I heard that there was going to be a second season. This time around I have seen literally all the good, average and bad bl drama's drama so I had nothing left bl wise to watch. I was not expecting them to be as intense as in Addicted. So my view point at this time is that this will be a slow burn and to just enjoy the little moments. I can say watching the show for the second time, it was actually quite good. The whole, push and pull. It's more about their conversations, their words, the little moments. The pinkmilk, all of that stuff.

 Also, Krist, was my fave.

Counterattack

I basically saw the photoshoot of the main couple first before I watched the show.

I think if this had been the first BL drama I had seen I would have enjoyed it more but because I had seen other shows that are better in terms of the storyline and stuff it doesn't really rate that well.

Cons - I didn't like how forceful the bigger guy was, it was too much and not cute at all. I'm not even sure if this was most a book or not. Maybe that's why. It lacked something.
Just a gif from the photoshoot.

The sad thing is I enjoyed their video at the photoshoot more than the show. Because that video it is 20 minutes long, that's one episode and their kisses were so real and effortless. The big guy was a gentle giant and their kisses..ahh...watch it below:

Thats it....yay, Make it right season 2 is currently releasing episodes so I might do recaps of that since I am so in love with the series.

COMPLETED: STRONG WOMAN DO BONG-SOON REVIEW

Alas, another sad day has come when one of the funniest, cutest drama's comes to an end. I have really enjoyed watching this drama. I haven't laughed so hard at a k drama ever before.

Spoilers below - :

Main Couple
The first thing you see before you start watching this drama is a big pink poster with a girl and two guys. For me I was like Ji soo yes, I am watching this. But I liked Park Hyung Sik aswell. Sadly, Jisoo once again is the second lead. I will wait patiently for him to become the lead. I will wait.
Park Hyung Sik I feel as though he really showed his talent here and took this opportunity and ran with it. He is one of the few idols who transitioned into the acting world very well. He was funny and I feel as though his little facial expressions and gasps just made the scenes even funnier. Not many people could have done this role as well.
Park Bo Young the female lead is so cute and small. I watched Oh my Ghostess and I never realised how tiny she was or maybe she's just normal and standing next to two 6ft some guys just made her look extra small. But I think that's what made her perfect for this role because she is tiny but super strong. She is very likeable, talented, can be emotional, funny and she embodied this role very well. Amazing.

Lead Chemistry Levels
They were very cute together and they bounced off each other very well. I found myself cheesing a lot and I enjoyed their teasing very much. This drama was quite different because the roles were kind of reversed in a sense. The guy I guess was more in love or whipped than her and she was more in control, he couldn't even be mad at her for long because she would just kiss him on the cheek and he would forgive her. They were a very cute funny couple, probably not the best couple I have seen in kdrama land but they matched very well.

Humor
If I had to rate this drama on rumor on a scale of 1-10 I would rate it 12. It was so funny, I swear I was laughing way to loud and too hard. I can't fault this show on their humor. I also have to mention Kim Won Hae who slayed me with this character. I have seen him in Drinking Solo and Chief Kim but when he played the drama queen, yess. I couldn't stop laughing, the screaming, the gum poppin. It gave me life. Too funny.

Story line
It had a decent story line, I feel like the thriller kidnapping section of the story was quite different. I didn't expect that and at the beginning it was very interesting. I feel like after episode 12 there started to be more filler scenes that had no purpose at all and nothing was happening. I do feel as though it could have been a maybe 14 episode show then it would have been better.

The ending
I liked the wrapping up of the kidnapping/ capturing scenes. Episode 15 had a lot of action and I enjoyed that. The first parts of the last episode was a lot of cuteness and in a sense nothingness. But I did like the wedding, that was a nice touch and the twin daughters. Even I gasped and then laughed. That was funny. I think overall it was a good ending and it didn't leave any questions unanswered. A happily ever after type of ending.

Skips
Again, I enjoyed episodes from 1 to 12 and I didn't skip at all but then you start to notice the gangster scenes or mum scenes feeling like fillers and didn't really add any humor or movement to the storyline. So I started to skips those scenes.

Rating
I would rate this drama 8/10. I thought it was very funny, well written and a good casting but the filler scenes were a bit boring. It was a cute good drama and I would definitely recommend it.

LOVED: TEN MILES OF PEACH BLOSSOMS (ETERNAL LOVE)

I am still not over this beautiful sensational drama that I completed. It literally took over my life and I am still deeply affected by this magnificent piece of art.

I am going to start by saying that this is the first Chinese drama that I have ever seen and it blew me away. It is 58 episodes and each episode is around 45 minutes but intro and outro is 2 minutes long so it's not as long as kdrama's but it's still as good drama.

When I watched the first episode, it was of course a different language which was at first weird because I am so used to korean but it's not high pitched like some languages so I got used to it and also when I started the audio and the lip movements didn't exactly match, It wasn't like 5 seconds behind but you could tell maybe in the first 30 minutes of the first episode. I later on found out that they have voice over actors who are more fluent in Chinese but after the first 30 minutes of the first episode I didn't really notice it and everything matched.

Okay, on to the review. One thing I loved about this drama was that it was very different, fantasy like, with a lot of graphics and supernatural stuff that was to my surprise well done. First episode was interesting enough for me to carry on but then after that I was hooked. It has a bit of games of throne theme to it and also has aspects of a historical kdrama feel as well but without the billion flashbacks.

I really loved the storyline, even though they were a lot of episodes it never dragged sometimes because I am so used to long historical drama's prolonging things and dragging everything out that when things were revealed quicker than I expected I was so happy.

The romance in this drama made my heart ache because it was so emotional. I don't think I felt this attached to a love story in a long time. They were good times, bad times and beautiful times and I really enjoyed it. I feel like everything was just beyond amazing.

I also got teary at a point in the drama, I don't want to ruin it by saying what happened but i'm going to say a little tear escaped my eye because of the female lead.

Honestly, the female lead, this actress did an amazing job, she had to play so many different roles in this drama but she nailed every single one of them and she is so beautiful, (i feel like everyone is beautiful in their own way) but the way her beauty captivated me to the core. That hasn't happened in kdrama's in awhile. She did an amazing job.

There were a lot of fine beautiful men in this drama and the thing that made me love them more was the way they loved her and also everyone in this drama did amazing.

I really wasn't expecting myself to enjoy this so much, i literally binge watched this, it took over my life in a good way and I got lost in this fascinating world. One of the best drama's I have seen, i'm surprised it came out this year and even though it has been a week since I completed it I still think about it now and again.

I would 150% recommend this masterpiece.

NEW SHOW: CHICAGO TYPEWRITER

This is a negative review, so if you enjoyed the show probably not a good idea to read it.
I went into watching the show with a little bit of high expectations since it had Yoo Ah-In who loved in 'Secret love affair' and ' Six flying dragons' and to be fair it started of somewhat interesting, there were a few funny moments and it does have a supernatural element to it because the story is based on a best selling writer and 1930s time travel element as well and the typewriter holds im guessing the soul of a writer from the 1930's.

Which sounds very interesting but as the episode went on I could tell that this was a none-story. I felt like they sat down and said okay goblin was a hit lets do it again.

This is the formula:
1. Popular actor - check.
2. High budget - check.
3. Supernatural element - ghost in a typewriter- check.

But just like goblin the storyline has no substance, it's not interesting at all and it's like you are watching to just watch something.

Also, the female lead annoyed me for some reason, she wasn't a bad actress but she wasn't amazing either. I feel like this was a poor casting choice and it also contributed to putting me off on carrying on.

So for now I will give this drama a miss.

NEW DRAMAS: STRONG WOMAN DO BONG-SOON, MS.PERFECT & REBEL: THIEF WHO STOLE THE PEOPLE

Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon is hilarious, I was honestly watching the last two episodes (3&4) and I was dying of laughter. If you are looking for a funny drama that will have you laughing way too loud and too much. This is the drama to watch.

The female lead is tiny, but she has superpower strength, as in superman, batman, hulk type of strength. It is a love triangle with two beautiful guys. I can't even pick because on one hand I love Jisoo, every single show I have seen him in since Angry mom has been amazing. But I love Park Hyung Sik. He was amazing in Hwarang, that's when I was like, who's this beautiful guy.

But it's not just a sappy cheesy romance, it's a thriller as well. It's scary yall, I swear, don't watch this at night. It's creepy, romantic, funny and the cast can actually act. I can see this becoming one of my favorite shows. [Last watched episode 4]

Creepy lady in the back, but she's beautiful though.

Ms. Perfect [Last watched episode 4]

I went into this show with zero expectations but it surprised me and I find myself watching it every week.
It's basically about a married woman who has two children and her husband has an affair and there are reason's to it. There's a creepy woman who wants to involve herself in her life, At this point she has like three love interests and someone gets murdered.

It's not a jump up and down exciting show, I'm not sure but I think it's a melodrama and it has a mature casting (30+) but it has so much mystery and questions that it will have you wanting to watch more.

Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People - [Last watched episode 12]

Again, I had zero expectations with this show and I love it. I think it is probably not as popular because it doesn't have popular actors or idols but I like it. I think the actors and actresses are amazing. What makes it great is the storyline. It is a historical drama and a long one at that. 30 episodes, if I am not mistaken.

I feel as though the storyline is unpredictable, interesting and captivating. I am always drawn into the show whenever I watch it and I am always so excited when theres a new episode.

This is the second time doing new drama's blog post and I feel as though these drama's are all very different but interesting in their own right.

DROPPED SHOWS: HWARANG, VOICES AND INTROVERTED BOSS & TOMORROW WITH YOU

Sometimes a show just isn't for you....

Hwarang - I couldn't finish episode 9. I think there are a lot of contributing factors that just made me give up/ drop the show. The first being the incest brother/sister love, I know she found out he wasn't her brother and their love grew but it just creeped me out. Another factor is sadly the bad acting from the female main. She has beautiful hazel eyes but their always out (lol, whatever this means) , same expression. Poor acting skills and she was always crying for no reason. The last point is probably the directors/ writers fault.

I feel like the premises of the show, the storyline started out good, interesting. I wanted to know about the King being hidden, the boys in Hwarang and their story but I felt as though the story writer didn't really know where to take the story and I loved watching the hwarang boys and then doing all these challenges and stuff but even that wasn't enough anymore so I just lost interest in the show and I don't think I want to even finish it.

Voices - I failed to finish episode 3. I really tried, I went back a couple times but sadly I had to drop it. I think the biggest factor again is how the main female lead seemed like a know it all and her trying to do more than needed was annoying. Plus, the main storyline lost its spark after 2 episodes. I feel as though maybe it should have been a movie instead of a 16 episode drama.

Introverted Boss - Again couldn't finish episode 3. I feel as though I had my expectations way too high, I saw the trailer and it was funny and then I saw the first two episodes and I wasn't really impressed or I found it the least bit funny it was just there and I just feel as though it was interesting enough. Storyline wise to carry on with it.

Tomorrow with you - I only watched one episode and it was the most boring, uneventful lackluster first episode I have ever seen in a kdrama. I understand a lot of kdrama's start the first two episodes with a bang. Their like the first page of a book. You have to entertain me so I can carry on reading the book. But again, maybe I went in with high expectations, I watched the trailer and casting is amazing, time travel type of theme. How could you go wrong.

I know....I think the storyline is the biggest fault here, there is such a lack of creativity, the way the characters are written, the chemistry is zero. Honestly, i just saw myself watching Goblin again and suffering because of a good casting and I said not again. It didn't seem interesting, it wasn't funny to me.

- note: these are my personal opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

NEW KDRAMAS: CHIEF KIM, VOICE, DEFENDANT, & INTROVERTED BOSS

January 2017 is coming to an end, new years resolutions are being broken and people are getting their first pay cheques of the new year and for us new drama's are commencing. Let's just get into it.

CHIEF KIM

The drama has Namgoong min who I am a fan off since Remember and Beautiful Gong Shim. It also has a member of 2pm Junho, which is the first time seeing him acting. Other members of 2pm have done quite well and for him to play such an unlikeable character is different but exciting.

Story is based on accounting and finance and of course fraud with a bit (or alot of) corruption and Nam goong min brings a humorous side to the drama and after watching the first two episodes I will carry on watching and will see what happens.

DEFENDANT

Starring Park Jung-Woo who is an amazing actor who can play just about any character and he really is the best man for this role. I don't want to give too much away about the story line but it reminds me a lot of remember in the sense of memory loss and the rich son of a massive company being super evil and getting away with it.

The only down side that I saw in the second episode is the acting of the main female lead who is called Yuri and she is from a girl group called SNSD and I don't mind idols, I didn't even know who she was but I dislike idols, actresses who cannot act. She was bad, it was very obvious that she could not act and the fact that she probably got this role, took it from someone who can actually act is what makes it worse. Worse even is that it looks like her role is quite important. Will see how awful she will be and if it will affect how bearable this show is.

VOICE

Reminds me of signal and the call which had Hale Barry. It is a crime drama that is based around the police and the emergency call operators. I enjoyed the first two episodes but I started to see a pattern were by the same thing happens with each call and it became predictable very quickly. Also, I couldn't finish the third episode because the female lead was annoying. I think they tried to make her a strong female character but she comes across as a know it all and very unlikable because there is only so much you can do on the phone and it just became unbearable. I have put this drama on the side for now but maybe I judged it too soon and I might go back and see if there is some character development and originality to the storyline.

INTROVERTED BOSS

I saw the trailers for this one so it looked funny and cute, also the female lead was from Age of Youth which I loved. (If you have not seen it, it is a must watch) Anyways, the first episode was lukewarm, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it and it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Second episode was alright. Girl from Secret the girl group did really well. (Yuri, here's a tip, when you start acting go for a supporting role (small role) instead of a big acting role when you are starting out.)

Again, I love the female lead but in this drama she comes off as annoying, I get her not wanting to be typecast with shy girl roles but she just can't pull this extroverted character and it just comes out wrong and annoying. Which is bad because I like her but a poor casting choice here. Also, the story line, if there is any, is not really flowing fast enough and became boring very quickly. Again, I just couldn't finish episode 3 and maybe I will give it another go but it's just not doing it. Even though the male lead had his little cute moments.

I still need to try Missing Nine, I have heard a few good things, I will carry on watching Chief Kim and Defendant and will see. Looks like the beginning of the year, winter weather has brought about more serious and plot heavy drama's when I am just looking for a cute fluffy drama.(sobs to myself)
